last monday of rehersals before leap across pond

So today's rehearsal was ok. We were missing half of the band members. made a lot of the rehearsal a little weird. Have to figure out why the piano wasn't working today but was during the last rehearsal.
got the 10' cables into use so we shall see if it was one of them or not.

Friday of First week

So today was initial Pack. We all brought huge bags to make sure everyone had enough space to pack everything. We discovered that everyone expected that they had more then they really did. So many of the actors are going to bring smaller bags next week.

I discovered that sound wise I can fit all my stuff in a backpack except the mat to cover the snake that will be running across the stage, So that is going to go in the same bag as the tech tote which has to be packed and checked due to the knifes and other sharp objects that are in it.


That's all that is going on Today.

Thursday

No tech today. But the cables came in that were ordered to extend the stage side snake for the instruments.

Wednesday Rehersals

So today we did more rehersals. It went well. still some people absent due to summer school. not much else to say.

Rehersals Day 1

So today was a little chaotic. but here is a little back track first. I worked for 2.5 hours last night to setup the theater. I had another 1.5 hours of setup this morning. Most of the setup was getting the theater to "match" what would be already setup in Scotland. This included setting up a 13 channels of cable so that i could move a small mixer all of 15 feet closer to the stage. However due to safety concerns it took 100' per channel of cable to do so.

Rehersals restart

So rehersals are starting back up tomorrow. (Monday) we shall see what happens next. I will definitely be putting over time in at this gig. Lots to do. Get all the cables run for sound. Setup the house part of the system (5 wireless 3 of which are hand-helds)
